Instructions for Video Submission

Most important - BE HONEST

  1. Find a Camera. Professional Camera or Phone camera. Whatever is the best quality you have.

  2. Find a plain background.

  3. Make sure there is good lighting and a clean non distracting background.

  4. ABSOLUTELY NO LOGOS OR BRAND NAMES shown on clothing or in the background. Please try to wear a plain shirt or jacket.

  5. Please film from the chest to the top of your head. It’s okay if there’s a little extra space on the sides, as long as you are centered in the middle of the frame.

  6. Send an email to angela@seeinmyworld.com including your name, phone number and email address with link of video once it’s been uploaded to YouTube (as private video) or upload via Wetransfer

  7. Write your name, phone number and email on a white sheet of paper. Hold this up clearly in front of the camera at the beginning of your video for at least 15 seconds and then place it off camera before answering questions.

  8. If you are filming on a phone, make sure the phone is landscape style.

  9. Include the question within your answers. For example, “Who do you aspire to be?” I aspire to be ____

  10. Uploading Video (screenshots showing upload steps)

    1. Using YouTube 

      1. Using Phone - download youtube app & upload 

      2. Using SLR Camera’s - put SD card into laptop and upload to YouTube

      3. Set your video to “private”

      4. Send us the link via the Video submission page
